Join us to celebrate the opening of our innovative new Gallery of Northwest Coast Masterworks and the inaugural exhibition, In a Different Light: Reflecting on Northwest Coast Art.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be greeted and guided by voices of contemporary First Nations artists and community members reflecting on historical Northwest Coast art. The opening will celebrate this continuation from past to present with remarks, refreshments and an evening of contemporary Indigenous performances.

Hear musical performances from DJ Kookum, contemporary cellist Cris Derksen, DJ O Show and audio/visual team See Monsters. Witness live visual performances from painter Levi Nelson and graffiti artist Larissa Healey, a.k.a. Gurl Twenty Three.

And grab a spray can and step up to our digital graffiti wall, which looks and feels just like real street art.
