When we think of the stars in the sky, we often forget about the one closest to us — our sun!
Join the UBC Astronomy Club on the Museum Grounds to safely view the sun using their solar telescopes. While it may look static down here on Earth, the sun is changing constantly. Solar observation provides a unique way to experience the daytime sky.
And if it’s the night sky you’re chasing after, don’t miss Blackout: Night Sky Festival on Saturday, August 12.
