MOA’s Temporary Closure in Response to COVID-19

Updated: May 8, 2020

MOA remains temporarily closed to the public, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All on-site tours, public programs and events, and school programs are cancelled until further notice.

MOA does not currently have a date selected to re-open but is following the advice of the provincial authorities in working to determine one in a prudent and safe manner. We are coordinating with UBC, the Faculty of Arts, as well as other departments across campus, to determine our re-opening strategies. We are working hard to develop and implement a process to safely re-open for our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives.

At MOA, our mission is to promote awareness and understanding of culturally diverse ways of knowing the world. We encourage you to keep culture, art and heritage in your daily lives, while you care for your well-being in these difficult times.

Enjoy many #MOAFromHome online resources and activities, and follow us on social media for daily doses of culture and delight: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram

We looking forward to welcoming you back to MOA soon!
