Support MOA this #GivingTuesdayNow

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, MOA has temporarily closed its doors to the public, to help flatten the curve and to keep our visitors, staff, volunteers and students safe.

Since the closure in mid-March, we have been working hard to enhance our online content so that our community can continue to connect and learn with us in these challenging times. With very little notice, our talented staff created #MOAFromHome, a new page on our MOA website that includes a virtual tour of the Great Hall, information on our collections, home activities, online lessons for teachers and much more. Through this website, we aim to remain true to our core commitment of promoting awareness and understanding of culturally diverse ways of knowing the world, despite the lack of physical access to our incredible collections.

Once it is safe for us to open our doors again, we hope to continue investing in this online platform and plan to resume our internationally acclaimed exhibition program, our internships, our award-winning publications and our public, family, school and multilingual programs and courses.

In the meantime, we hope you will continue to support MOA by making a donation to the museum, becoming a member, subscribing to our newsletter or engaging with us through our social media channels on FacebookTwitter and Instagram. If you are considering donating objects to MOA, please visit here to learn more about our acquisition process.

Your support enables us to preserve and share our worldwide collections with the widest possible audience, and remain a source of engagement and support to our community in these very difficult times.

We hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to welcoming you back to MOA soon.
