Updated: July 2, 2020

MOA is temporarily closed to the public, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Museum will reopen on Wednesday, July 8. Museum admission will now be on a timed-entry basis. All visitors must pre-book a ticket online to be admitted into the Museum. We have implemented new visiting procedures and physical distancing measures—for your safety, and ours. Click the button below to read MOA’s full reopening policies and to book your timed-entry tickets:

MOA is following the advice of the provincial authorities to reopen in a prudent and safe manner. We are coordinating with UBC, the Faculty of Arts, as well as other departments across campus. We have developed and implemented a process to safely re-open for our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives.

At MOA, our mission is to promote awareness and understanding of culturally diverse ways of knowing the world. We encourage you to keep culture, art and heritage in your daily lives, while you care for your well-being in these difficult times.

Until your next visit, enjoy many #MOAFromHome online resources and activities, and follow us on social media for daily doses of culture: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
