Welcome Back—MOA is Open

Updated: May 18, 2021

MOA open to the public, with rigorous COVID-19 protocols. We continue to work hard to adjust and implement a process to safely welcome our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives. We have implemented visiting procedures and physical distancing measures—for your safety, and ours.

Museum admission is now on a timed-entry basis. We strongly recommend visitors pre-book their tickets online in advance of their visit to guarantee entry.

MOA has and continues to follow the advice of the provincial authorities to open in a prudent and safe manner. We continually coordinate with UBC, the Faculty of Arts, as well as other departments across campus. We have developed, implemented and continue to adjust protocols in order to safely welcome our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives.

At MOA, our mission is to promote awareness and understanding of culturally diverse ways of knowing the world. We encourage you to keep culture, art and heritage in your daily lives, while you care for your well-being in these difficult times.

Until your next visit, enjoy many #MOAFromHome online resources and activities, and follow us on social media for daily doses of culture: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
