Welcome to MOA—We Are Open

Updated: April 21, 2022

MOA is open to the public, with new COVID-19 protocols. We continue to work hard to adjust and implement a process to safely welcome our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives.

Masks are required while inside the Museum for all visitors five years and older, until further notice (updated April 21, 2022).

Proof of vaccination is not required to visit MOA. This includes general museum admission, the MOA Shop, special events and public programs, and school visits.

Museum admission is daily general admission. Visitors are welcome to purchase admission tickets in-person upon arrival, or pre-book online.

MOA has and continues to follow the advice of the provincial authorities to open in a prudent and safe manner. We continually coordinate with UBC, the Faculty of Arts, as well as other departments across campus. We have developed, implemented and continue to adjust protocols in order to safely welcome our visitors and staff, in accordance with all provincial health directives.

At MOA, our mission is to promote awareness and understanding of culturally diverse ways of knowing the world. We encourage you to keep culture, art and heritage in your daily lives, while you care for your well-being in these difficult times.

Until your next visit, enjoy many #MOAFromHome online resources and activities, and follow us on social media for daily doses of culture: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
