MOA is delighted to welcome Joshua Doherty as a new Projects Manager in the Design team.

Joshua has been working in museums since 2006 and is interested in how people’s stories can be told through the use of materials, belongings, spaces and experiences. He has a degree in industrial design from Emily Carr University and has spent his career developing and designing exhibitions and objects for museums, galleries and private collectors.
Joshua’s introduction to museums was making brass and steel display mounts for MOA. He has since expanded his roles and experience through by designing and fabricating exhibitions for the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, Anvil Arts Centre, Museum of Vancouver and through freelance. He now returns to MOA, and we are thrilled to have him back.
At MOA, Joshua is responsible for managing and designing exhibitions from concept to installation. He works closely with curators, artists and fabricators to create engaging, accessible displays that bring cultural stories to life.
