MOA Appoints Matt Louie as Financial Assistant

MOA is delighted to welcome Matt Louie as Financial Assistant.

Matt is passionate about financial literacy and its ability to empower individuals, small businesses and communities. While studying at UBC, Matt “fell in love” with MOA and worked at the Museum’s admission desk during his undergraduate and graduate studies. During this time, he gained fluency with MOA’s point-of-sale system, became skilled at handling large volumes of cash and loved training student staff. In his new role at MOA, Matt is responsible for supporting the Museum’s financial operations, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and offering support in HR processes. His deep familiarity with MOA’s front-of-house systems and procedures, combined with his strong organizational skills, make him a valuable addition to the Finance team.

Matt is also passionate about people, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Education degree in counselling psychology, and is a licensed mental heath professional. He also has great love for singing and voice acting.

We’re thrilled to welcome Matt back to MOA in this new role.
