MOA is delighted to welcome Sophia Ludwig as MOA’s new Receptionist + Booking Coordinator.

Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in classical, Near Eastern and religious studies, with a minor in French, and is a graduate of the library and information technology program at Langara College. She has experience in customer service, having worked as a sales associate at various retail stores in Vancouver. In 2023, Sophia completed a practicum at the MOA Library and Archives. She joined MOA in her new role just three days before the Museum reopened on June 13, 2024, following its temporary closure for seismic upgrades.
At MOA, Sophia is responsible for managing the front desk reception and coordinating all bookings for school programs and group tours. She serves as a key point of contact for visitors and staff, providing information and support with warmth and professionalism. With her background in information management and customer service, Sophia helps ensure a welcoming and organized experience for all.
