MOA Appoints Sarah Raven as Collections Access Coordinator 

MOA is delighted to welcome Sarah Raven as MOA’s new Collections Access Coordinator.

Sarah holds an M.A. and a B.A. in Anthropology (Hons) from the University of British Columbia, and an associate degree in Indigenous Studies from Langara College. Her previous work as an Indigenous Rights Researcher was focused on supporting Indigenous communities in British Columbia and Alberta on a variety of projects including traditional land use, oral history, genealogy, and cultural heritage repatriation projects.

As Collections Access Coordinator and Provenance Researcher, Sarah manages the Indigenous Collection Access Program as well as other collections-related access and research visits to MOA. She also conducts provenance research on the MOA collections in support of repatriation, collections access, curatorial initiatives, and supports other special projects related to the collections.
