MOA is delighted to announce that Melanie Lawrence has been appointed as Manager, Administration.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and completed additional Financial and Managerial Accounting coursework through UBC’s Sauder School of Business. With more than 16 years at the Museum of Anthropology, she brings deep institutional knowledge gained through a range of progressively responsible roles across the organization. Prior to joining MOA, Melanie worked in retail management, where she developed skills that continue to inform her approach to financial stewardship and administration at the Museum.

In her new role, Melanie provides leadership for MOA’s financial and administrative operations. She plays a key role in financial planning and in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, budgeting and systems across the Museum.  She continues to oversee the Museum’s admissions and shop financial operations.
