MOA Appoints Cody Rocko as Museum Exhibition Designer – Graphic Specialist

MOA is delighted to announce that Cody Rocko has been appointed as Museum Exhibition Designer – Graphic Specialist at MOA.

Since joining MOA in 2016, Cody has helped shape the look and feel of many of MOA’s exhibitions and publications. She works to make the museum’s stories visually engaging, accessible, and meaningful for visitors. She’s worked on projects such as Shadows, Strings & Other Things: The Enchanting Theatre of Puppets, which received a Canadian Museums Association award for Outstanding Achievement, and more recently Nuxalk Strong: Dancing Down the Eyelashes of the Sun, which received an Honourable Mention in the Outstanding Exhibitions category.

In her new role as Exhibition Designer, Cody will continue to bring complex ideas, layered histories, and multiple voices into the visual realm — helping bring exhibitions to life. Cody works with nearly every department in the museum, and she works closely with curators, community members, artists, designers, and MOA’s Communications team. Her work is rooted in collaboration and care, with a focus on creating exhibitions that support the stories being shared and the people who share them.

Cody holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and a Certificate in Communication Design from BCIT, and brings over 15 years of experience in the museum field.
