Employment Opportunities for Students

The Museum of Anthropology offers a range of work opportunities for UBC students, and from other post-secondary institutions.

PURE Student Researchers—Decolonizing the African Collections and Displays (due August 19, 2020)

Museum Student Assistants

MOA provides part-time employment for UBC students in the Shop, Admissions and as tour guides and assistants during facility rentals and public events.

Work Learn

The Work Learn Program supports and subsidizes meaningful work experiences on campus. All current UBC students who are registered in credit courses at UBC and have a valid at UBC student number are eligible to apply. Students must have a valid social insurance number before they can be paid by UBC.

Summer Term (May – August): Students can work up to 20 hours per week.

Winter Term (September – April): Students can work up to 10 hours per week.
