Coast Salish Wool Weaving Workshop with Frieda George – SOLD OUT
Saturday March 10, 2018 | 10 am – 4 pm
Join master Salish weaver Frieda George of Squiala for a wool weaving workshop where she will share some teachings of the elders and guide participants through traditional methods of Coast Salish weaving.
Participants will take home their own weavings and have the opportunity to purchase a loom and wool from the artist. No experience necessary. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 10 participants.
Workshop cost per person, includes materials and light lunch:
Adult: $150
Youth, Student, Senior: $135
UBC students, staff, faculty/MOA Members/Indigenous peoples: $125
