Decolonizing the African Collections PURE Open House

Join MOA for an open house for the Program for Undergraduate Research Experience (PURE) project—”Decolonizing the African Collections and Displays at MOA.”
As the first term is approaching its end, join Abigail White, Dannielle Olusanya, Diana Kamau, Melanie Ligale, Nabila Basri, Saleh Ismail, Sam Klein Laufer and Savannah Sutherland as they share their research on the museum’s African collections. Meet the group, learn about their work and join the informal get-together over coffee and cookies.
The Program for Undergraduate Research Experience (PURE) is aimed at broadening access to, and enhancing, undergraduate research experience as a central priority in UBC’s new strategic plan.
Open to all.
