Kids Take Over UBC at MOA 2025
Sunday February 16 | 11 am – 3 pm
Celebrate the Family Day weekend by bringing your family to MOA on Sunday, February 16 for a day of museum fun.
As part of Kids Take Over UBC happening across campus, enjoy a full-day of family-friendly activities at MOA! As you take a cultural journey through the Museum, collect stamps in your memory passport. Join the dancers of the Nisga’a Ts’amiks Vancouver Society in the Great Hall where the whole family can participate in dances establishing connections with body and roots. Visit with the Cultural Interpreters throughout the Museum to learn about their personal connections to cultural belongings and art making. Try your hand at being a conservator by practicing the care and repair of materials found in the Museum, prompting you to think about preserving your own family treasures. Stop by the Kids Library for story time to explore diverse cultural experiences and identities, plus get your hands into some craft and art-making activities.
The event is open to children of all ages. Kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free with museum admission, or with Kids Take Over UBC pre-registration.
