Tour With the MOA’s Cultural Interpreters
The Cultural Interpreters Program brings the voices and perspectives of Indigenous UBC student tour guides from a range of First Nations and cultural backgrounds to the forefront. Visitors learn more about the MOA collection through Indigenous perspectives and gain deeper understanding from the Cultural Interpreters who share personal and community connections to the belongings and treasures in the Museum.
In addition to public tours, the Cultural Interpreters host open art studio time and artist demonstrations.
Summer 2026 Cultural Interpreters: Jacqueline Morrisseau-Addison (Saulteaux), Gelgelmec Joseph (Lil’wat), Rena Priest (Lhaq’temish), Jazmine Andrew (Lil̓wat Nation, St̓at̓yemc), and Kaelyn Davidson (Makwa Sahgaiehcan).
Summer Tour Schedule (until August 21, 2026)*
Monday – Friday | 1pm + 3pm
Tours last approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
*Please note: there will be no tours on Monday, August 3 (BC Day).

Tour with MOA’s Native Youth Program
On your next visit to MOA, take a tour with the members of this year’s Native Youth Program. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to learn about MOA’s feature exhibitions from the Indigenous youth.
