Indigenous Interns for Indigenous Internship Program (Fall 2021 Cohort) — Deadline: July 25, 2021
MOA’s Collections Management department accepts applications for an annual Collections Practicum placement. The practicum is unpaid and restricted to Canadian students who are currently enrolled in a college or university museum studies training program requiring a practicum placement as part of its curriculum.
MOA’s Conservation department accepts applications for Conservation Interns for two annual internship periods: summer (May – August) and fall (September – December). Internships are open to students who are enrolled in a conservation training program and who require an internship placement as part of their graduating requirements.
Indigenous Internship Program
The Indigenous Internship Program provides training opportunities for Indigenous people working in museums or Indigenous people who would like to do this kind of work. There will be two annual calls for applicants: Spring and Fall. Placements are 10 weeks, 35 hours per week but may be adjusted to part-time, over a longer duration in order to meet family or community needs.
