Booking Your School Visit
Please note: Now booking Culturally Belonging: Designing Innovation in Atlanthos (May 26–30, 2025). All other Winter/Spring 2025 (January 7–June 12, 2025) school programs are now fully booked.

We welcome teachers to preview our exhibitions free of charge before their class visit. Proof of booking and valid BC school ID is required for entry.
Guided School Programs
To book an in-person program, please submit a booking request. Please note your submission is a request only. MOA Bookings will contact you within a week of your request to confirm the details of your request.
To make your booking request, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your program selection
- Preferred dates and times
- Number of students (max. 30) and grade level
- School name and complete address, including postal code
- Your name, contact phone numbers and email address
- Number of adult supervisors
- Whether or not you would like to book our lunch space
Rates:
Guided school groups must pay a program fee and museum admission.
- Program fee: School programs have a flat rate of $105/program (max. 30 students). Different program fees may apply to special school programs.
- Museum admission: Groups of 10 or more students (K–12) receive a discounted admission rate of $8/student (free for Indigenous students). Supervising adults and teachers receive free admission with their group.
Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes in advance to ensure your students can enjoy the full duration of the program. Teachers must check in with the Admissions Desk to remit payment upon arrival (Visa, Mastercard, Debit, school cheques and cash are accepted – we do not accept personal cheques). In case of delay, call 604.822.3825.
Supervision: We request 1 adult supervisor for every 7 elementary students and 1 adult supervisor for every 10 secondary students. We ask that supervisors help us ensure students behave in such a way that doesn’t disrupt others’ learning.
Parking: Car parking is available in front of the Museum and across the street at the Rose Garden Parkade for hourly and daily rates—please consult UBC Parking for more information. Buses can park for free in the MOA lot.
Cancellation fees: $50/program will be charged if a cancellation notice is received less than two weeks prior to your scheduled program.

Self-Guided Visits
School groups (K–12) of various sizes can pre-book a timed-entry, self-guided visit to explore the Museum without a guided tour. Groups of 10 or more students (K–12) receive a discounted rate of $8/student (free for Indigenous students). We request 1 adult supervisor for every 7 elementary students and 1 adult supervisor for every 10 secondary students. Teachers and adult supervisors receive free admission with their group.
Teaching Kits
MOA offers teaching kits with hands-on materials, activities, and lesson plans for use in the classroom, available for 15-day rentals ($40) and 30-day rentals ($75).
