School groups (K–12) of various sizes can pre-book a timed-entry, self-guided visit to explore the Museum without a guided program or guided tour. Groups of 10 or more students (K–12) receive a discounted rate of $8/student (free for Indigenous students and students 5 years old and under). Self-guided groups must have 1 adult supervisor for every 7 elementary students and 1 adult supervisor for every 10 secondary students. Teachers and adult supervisors receive free admission with their group.

Self-guided visits are ideal for groups visiting outside of guided school program times or for teachers who want to facilitate their students’ own MOA learning experience. During their visit, students can access MOA’s feature and permanent exhibitions, as well as MOA’s grounds. MOA Education volunteers may be available to provide additional support.
