Self-Guided Groups

Groups of various sizes can book self-guided visits to explore the Museum without a guided tour. Groups of 10 or more people receive special rates, when booked in advance.

To book a self-guided visit for your group, please contact MOA Bookings at bookings@moa.ubc.ca. Please provide the following information in your email:

• Number of people in your group: Adults, Seniors, Students, Youth, Indigenous (free)

• Company name, if applicable

We will respond to your booking request within two business days.

Self-Guided School Groups

School groups (K–12) of various sizes can pre-book a timed-entry, self-guided visit to explore the Museum without a guided program or guided tour. Groups of 10 or more students (K–12) receive a discounted rate of $8/student (free for Indigenous students and students 5 years old and under). Self-guided groups must have 1 adult supervisor for every 7 elementary students and 1 adult supervisor for every 10 secondary students. Teachers and adult supervisors receive free admission with their group.

MOA also offers a range of guided school programs for elementary and secondary students.

Private Tours with MOA Guides

MOA is now accepting requests for private tours in English and French with MOA guides, for tours until December 31, 2026. Tours are available Monday through Friday during regular museum hours. Private tours can accommodate up to 15 people maximum.

Duration: approx. 45 min
Fee: $200 + taxes, plus museum admission per guest (group rate)

To request a private tour for your group, please contact MOA Bookings at bookings@moa.ubc.ca, with minimum two weeks’ notice. Please provide the following information in your email:

• Requested tour language: English or French
